DESCRIPTION

This new species of mahseer occurs in Southeast Asia. This mahseer has a taller more well rounded body and develops metallic golden scales and a thick black dorsal or lateral line. Mahseers inhabit both rivers and lakes, ascending to rapid streams with rocky bottoms for breeding. Like other types of carps, they are omnivorous, eating not only algae, crustaceans, insects, frogs, and other fish, but also fruits that fall from trees overhead. They are very easy to care for and readily accepts pellet foods.

A video must be submitted with your claim clearly showing the fish is dead in its original packaging and a second video of the fish out of the bag and on a dry flat surface.
