Shipping Policy – Predatory Fins

Thank you for shopping with Predatory Fins. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about our shipping process, delivery times, and policies.


Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

We only ship Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. If you want your order shipped on Thursday to arrive on Friday, we can do that, but we cannot cover any UPS delays on Thursday shipments even with insurance. 

For air cargo we can ship via Southwest or Delta and there is a $150 delivery charge to the airport. Freight cost you can pay when you pick up the package.


Shipping Coverage

Generally, we ship to the 48 Continental United States.

We also have the ability to ship to:

  • Hawaii
  • Alaska
  • Puerto Rico

Shipping Method & Delivery

All orders are shipped via UPS Overnight shipping to ensure the health and safety of live fish.

Delivery times may still be affected by carrier delays, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. We recommend getting the shipping protection, this way you are fully covered if anything happens to your package.


Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order details.


Live Animal & Legal Compliance

Please check your state and local laws regarding which fish species are legal to own before purchasing.

  • Any order containing fish that are not permitted in your state will NOT be shipped
  • A $100 fee will be deducted before issuing any refund for restricted orders

Packaging & Temperature Control

Heat packs and ice packs are used on an as-needed basis to protect your fish during transit.


Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. 


Lost or Delayed Packages

Predatory Fins is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers. However, due to the nature of live animal shipments, please contact UPS immediately if there are any issues with your delivery.


Incorrect Shipping Information

Please ensure that your shipping address is correct at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly provided addresses.

If you notice an error, contact us immediately at 561-430-7944 and we will do our best to correct it before shipment.


Cancellation Policy

Once an order is placed, a 20% cancellation fee will apply.

Please make sure you are 100% certain before placing your order, as all cancellations will incur this fee regardless of the reason.

Insurance

will cover shipping cost and live arrival guarantee outside of our normal shipping policy. This means we will compensate you for any fish that died in transit and the associated shipping costs that occurred from shipping delays, damage or loss of package by shipping carrier. If shipment is late or damaged, but fish is alive, then you can claim for the shipping cost. All claims must be made within 2 hrs of receiving the package. A video must be submitted with your claim clearly showing the fish is dead in its original packaging and a second video of the fish out of the bag and on a dry flat surface. Claims may be denied if you fail to provide sufficient proof that clearly demonstrates loss. All compensation will be given in the form of store credit.
