Forskahlii tiger fish is an African predatory freshwater fish of the family Alestidae. It is a true river monster very very sharp teeth. They are very similar to their cousin the Vittatis with  black lateral lines on the body, but instead of a full red tail, only the bottom half has the red coloration. It also iattains a smaller maximum size of 13 - 15 inches which make it a more manageable Fish in home aquariums.
