DESCRIPTION

Papua Orange Tip Crayfish

(Cherax snowdeni)

The Papua Orange Tip Crayfish is a striking freshwater crayfish known for its deep blue-green body and bright orange claw tips. Native to Papua, Indonesia, this species stands out in aquariums thanks to its bold coloration and active personality.

While generally peaceful toward fish, they can be territorial with other bottom dwellers or crayfish, especially in smaller tanks. Plenty of hiding spots and space help them feel secure and reduce aggression.
