DESCRIPTION

The Orange Goby (Sineleotris saccharae) is a rare and eye-catching freshwater goby known for its vibrant orange coloration and bold patterning. Native to Asia, this bottom-dwelling species combines unique looks with subtle predatory behavior, making it a standout addition to specialized aquariums.

Max Size

  • 3–5 inches in captivity
  • Compact, thick-bodied goby

Tank Size

  • Minimum: 20–30 gallons
  • Recommended: 40+ gallons for groups or multiple specimens
  • Prefers tanks with plenty of bottom space

Tank Mates

  • Semi-aggressive for its size
  • Best with:
    • Similar-sized fish
    • Peaceful to semi-aggressive species
  • Avoid:
    • Very small fish (may be eaten)
    • Highly aggressive tank mates

Diet

Carnivorous:

  • Frozen foods (bloodworms, brine shrimp)
  • Small live foods
  • Sinking pellets (may take time to accept)

This means we will compensate you for any fish that died in transit and the associated shipping costs that occurred from shipping delays, damage or loss of package by shipping carrier. If shipment is late or damaged, but fish is alive, then you can claim for the shipping cost. All claims must be made within 2 hrs of receiving the package. A video must be submitted with your claim clearly showing the fish is dead in its original packaging and a second video of the fish out of the bag and on a dry flat surface. Claims may be denied if you fail to provide sufficient proof that clearly demonstrates loss. All compensation will be given in the form of store credit.
