The Aimara Wolf Fish, also called the Arapaima Wolf Fish or Giant Wolf Fish, is an incredible large and predatory fish from South America, known for its aggressive behavior and gapingly large size. The aimara can grow incredibly large, up to 4 feet in captivity, and thus requires an exceptionally large tank to contain it in optimal conditions. This fish's torpedo-shaped body is streamlined and optimized for providing bursts of speed as it's on the hunt for food. As a top predatory, the aimara is highly carnivorous, preferring a protein-rich diet.
Aimaras may not be the best tankmates, especially when placed in a smaller tank. When given plentiful space, aimaras can be placed with other large, robust fish that are able to tolerate its aggressive and territorial nature, including arapaimas, bichirs, pacus, and large catfish.
will cover shipping cost and live arrival guarantee outside of our normal shipping policy. This means we will compensate you for any fish that died in transit and the associated shipping costs that occurred from shipping delays, damage or loss of package by shipping carrier. If shipment is late or damaged, but fish is alive, then you can claim for the shipping cost. All claims must be made within 2 hrs of receiving the package. A video must be submitted with your claim clearly showing the fish is dead in its original packaging and a second video of the fish out of the bag and on a dry flat surface. Claims may be denied if you fail to provide sufficient proof that clearly demonstrates loss. All compensation will be given in the form of store credit.
