Also known as Siamese Tiger Datnoid, Wide Bar Datnoid, ST Datnoid, this fish is the most prized of all the Datnoides species. Formerly described as Datnoides microlepis this fish has a golden based with three thick prominent vertical bars resembling the stripes of a tiger. In recent years this fish was successfully bred in captivity and now is becoming available to hobbyist.
