Care Overview
Barbs are generally hardy and adaptable but thrive best in groups of 5 or more to reduce aggression and encourage natural schooling behavior. They prefer well-maintained aquariums with open swimming space and moderate flow.
Some species can be fin nippers, so tank mates should be selected carefully—avoid slow-moving or long-finned fish.
will cover shipping cost and live arrival guarantee outside of our normal shipping policy. This means we will compensate you for any fish that died in transit and the associated shipping costs that occurred from shipping delays, damage or loss of package by shipping carrier. If shipment is late or damaged, but fish is alive, then you can claim for the shipping cost. All claims must be made within 2 hrs of receiving the package. A video must be submitted with your claim clearly showing the fish is dead in its original packaging and a second video of the fish out of the bag and on a dry flat surface. Claims may be denied if you fail to provide sufficient proof that clearly demonstrates loss. All compensation will be given in the form of store credit.
